7/1/11 Topic: 007 Quantum of Solace

In the past couple of weeks I had to get a gamertag for x-box because I needed an update for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. With that happy news I had to start completely over with my achievements so what the hell. I decided to replay all the games I have. I just finished Quantum of Solace and I started… yesterday. So here is my review.
Basic Plot: James Bond is at it again. Using your stealth, weapons, and information you are here to save the day again. You sneak through an Opera house, fight in hotels, and rescue airports. Hacking into cameras let you see what you have in for the level and using the guns helps you get through the levels. At the end of the day you are still blowing stuff up and taking out the bad guys.

Review: Sadly, I was kind of disappointed… actually really disappointed. There were no cool gadgets in this game like in Nightfire! No camera lighter, grappling hook, nothing (also you don’t drive, which I thought was so totally rad when I played Nightfire). So I think they tried to replace the cool gadgets with 3rd person hiding. In the third person you can lean out or kinda spray into the people who are shooting at you. So I am sorry to say if you are a person who loves shooting first person, this game is not for you. If you crouch behind objects instead of the leaning third person thingy, you get shot out the wazoo. I also thought that the game was too scene/level jumpy. By that I mean… BRAZIL, FLORIDA, DESERT, TRAIN, ITALY, AHHHH! It was annoying and the levels were not really that long, making the plot more bleh.

Today's Topic: Ratchet and Clank!

When I first started getting into the gaming scene (which was really late thanks to my parents) I first had a PS2. My parents were also horrible at buying me good games but through luck and the Gaming Gods I fell into Ratchet and Clank.
Basic Plot: Ratchet (your Lombax character) teams up with Clank (the Robot, who else?) to find Captain Quark, the greatest hero in the galaxy! Ratchet agrees to help Clank locate the spandex wearing hero in order save planets from Chairman Drek’s evil plan: to destroy planets, harvest the parts, and build a super planet for is people.

With some help from wacky characters, cool gagets, and insane weapons, you are sent on adventure through the galaxy.
My thoughts: I have to love this game. Sure its old but It is so much fun to play. The weapons are so much fun to use and the levels are fun even after my fourth play through.
Rating: 5 out of 5. If you are looking for a cheap game to play and loads of fun just get this game and play through the series. (I will talk of them later)
